A solution for Stilt Grass

Like many others in our area, our property sometimes seems completely overwhelmed by Stilt Grass, which is classified as an invasive species.

According to the Rutgers Agricultural Extension, for many years, the only way to tackle it was mowing. That has been only partially successful for us, but recently I found a selective grass herbicide called Acclaim that seems very effective at keeping it down without touching turf grasses or ornamental plants. I’ve used it on the lawn, but it’s not suitable for use across the whole farm because we want to stay organic as much as possible.
