Freeing a buck caught in netting

A young buck showed up near our house with some netting wrapped around it’s antlers. My husband was able to free it by cutting them away first with a lopper and then with bolt cutters. He ran off and shook off the remaining netting. He knew we were helping him, but it was pretty stressful both for him and us. This is why you can’t dump garbage in the woods. Once untangled, we were able to retrieve the net.
